Video of Land O'Lakes School Nutrition Programs Featured on America.gov Web site
Since the year 2000, Land O’Lakes International Development has fed 1.5 million malnourished schoolchildren in developing countries, primarily Asia. The school nutrition programs have demonstrated significant and lasting improvements in the education, health, and nutrition of children and in the food safety, institutional, and market capacity of the stakeholder food industries. Through its USDA-funded programs in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the Philippines, Land O’Lakes currently serves nutritious school snacks to nearly 350,000 children, many of whom otherwise would not attend school regularly.
